Advice please

Hello,
I'm sure this is off topic for this site and I apologise for that. My niece is about to start her degree in Archeology and is also about to turn 18. She isn't one for jewellery etc and so as a family we would like to club together and buy her something really special for her chosen career.
My question is do you have some suggestions? Our budget is £100. We were thinking a leather tool roll?? Does anyone know of any makes that you could recommend. We would really appreciate any help or advice you can offer for a very passionate archeologist in waiting. Thank you
