Re-installing my Rain Soft water softener.

So, I have finally purchased a new home and want to hook up my Rain Soft unit. It has both the Carbon filter and water conditioner as two separate units. What I am looking for is an install manual just in case I am wrong about how I think the inlets/outlets are laid out, and a setup guide to figure out how to set up the timer for the auto-regeneration. I know how to test water and have quite a kit for that.

I am assuming the water inlet is on the left due to inlet coloring?
