Hey, hope all is well! I have a question by the way. theres this girl who i met at the gym and we talked like 3 times for like 20 min each and then today i went and asked her for her number...... She then says are you gonna call me? and then i replied depends.. and then she said sorry i dont usually give out my number.. and then i said alrite no problem and left
what did i do wrong?

I suspect that saying "depends" wasn't a good answer to ''are you going to call me?"

I know it would make me wonder why you were asking for my number if you weren't sure you were going to call me.

I wouldn't have given you my number with that response from you.

If you really wanted to come across as being sincerely interested, you should have said "Yes, I plan on calling you."
After all, she doesn't want to seem too desperate. And you want to come across as following through...good for your word.

Frankly, you may have blown it.
