Hi, I have recently encountered two grammar questions that are puzzling me. I would be grateful for any help.

I had won some money which I spent on a new bike.

Can I leave out the 'which' in this sentence? Why/ why not?

Also, can I use the relative pronoun 'where' in the following sentence?

The chair where I was sitting was comfortable.
