I saw a BBC comedy drama called Trust Me about a complete bullshit merchant who gets tangled up with a bunch of assassins starring Alfred Molina. Roger Lloyd Pack and Hywel Bennett played the two assassins.
At one point Molina places a pen on the dashboard of a car and claimed it was a mercury switch that would go off with any sudden movement.
