Please give a reason for the news:
Severe rainstorms swamp China (ChinaDaily reports presently. You may click the link attached)

Why? (Let's see why China is swamped. Give your reason if you'd like to)

Because smog haunts China (this is my attempt, please give yours)

It is un-likely that a sufficiently competent
meteorologist is in A2K to give u that information.
