Art Identification Problem

I am trying to find out when a mural was painted. Seems to be around Medieval times but no way to know for sure. I have looked in many books and scoured the internet (including reverse image lookup) but am still unable to find any trace of resemblance to it. Could anyone help me figure out how I could find it?

@farmerman,
That really would be the best idea.
I don't know on which continent/coutry that mural painting is situated. But e.g. virtually all church walls in Europe were painted during the Medieval Ages.
So, when you know the time the building was finished, you get an idea.
