Can someone help me out with comma placement?

I have a music blog that has the tagline "xxxx is an independent music blog, pointing you toward the best new songs on a daily basis." I believe that is correct.

On my Twitter profile, I (intentionally) use a fragmented version of that: "An independent music blog pointing you toward the best new songs on a daily basis." Notice I do not have a comma in there after "blog." Should there be, like there is above?

@nmyoung,
Nope.
The comma isn't needed in either sentence.
"xxxx is an independent music blog pointing you toward the best new songs on a daily basis."
You can leave it in if you want to, it's not necessary.

Joe(As long as the meaning of the sentence is still clear, I am in favor of fewer commas.)Nation

@nmyoung,
No, Young, while I don't find the first one needed either
