Does the TC Series requires a Reverse Osmosis system also ?

Someone is offering me a Rain Soft TC Series system ( 3 components). I want to know if I will also need the Reverse Osmosis System or other to have a complete system for a single house.

They are two completely seperate systems. The TC series is a water softener. The RO is just for your drinking water. It is nice to have both, but they operate independently of each other.
