Now my android mobile phone has access to the net, but I have one single laptop only, without anything like routers etc. thought I as a computer idiot do not in the least know what those devices mean. Could anyone tell me how I can use my mobile phone to make the laptop have access to the net? I've googled, but nothing intelligble turned up.

I don't know either. Somebody else is sure to come along, though their explanations often assume knowledge we don't actually have.
internet is a wide source of knowledge, you can learn from various online tutorials about your mobile and laptop compatibility.
