All American like living off the government, not teaching children personal responsibility, and having the government do your thinking for you?

Those aren't American values. Those are the values of loafers, liars and thieves.

This is remarkably dumb, even for you, joint. You want to tell me what any of your rant has to do with the Indiana law, which is what Obama was talking about. Or has to do with reality, for that matter. the peopple who are living off the government are huge corporations, agribusiness with subsidies and tax breaks, and Wall Street and crony capitalists. Everybody else are just pikers by comparison.

And you will notice that Obama is not alone in thinking the Indiana law violates American values. You will notice the firestorm it has ignited--the business community is heaping scorn on it, and threatening to pull out of Indiana as a result--aren't those the guys you think epitomize American values of work? Hey discrimination is discrimination, joint, and it ain't American. You, maybe, but not OUR America. But then you're an outlier, way way WAY outlier.

@RABEL222,
I didn't post it, I was just asking if sources need to have prestigious awards now to be credible. Why mix me up with CJ, we are nothing alike. You have more in common with CJ then I do. You both use the same bombastic BS pointless methods.

@MontereyJack,
Didn't Clinton sign a similar federal law back in 1993 that is still on the books?

It's the 21st century now, Baldimo. Things change. The Defense of Marriage Act, Congress's momentary aberration, has effectively been gutted, and will be permanently revoked, like the Fugitive Slave Act, or Plessy vs Ferugson, when the Supreme Court decides in June.

@MontereyJack,
I'm all for the gutting of DOMA and it indeed has been ended but the law Clinton signed isn't up for review at SCOTUS. In fact wasn't it that very federal law SCOTUS used in their Hobby Lobby ruling?

Grandma Clinton’s Approval Ratings Have Fallen and Can’t Get Up

Quote:

Hillary Clinton’s email problems are taking a bite out of her approval ratings, raising the GOP’s confidence that she can be defeated in 2016.

A new poll released Tuesday by Quinnipiac University found Clinton trailing former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush in the Sunshine State and enjoying only a 2 percentage point lead over Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.).

In February, she led both — with a 10-point lead on Rubio.

The same poll found Clinton ahead of the GOP field in the must-win state of Pennsylvania but with only a 1-point lead over Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.). And her favorability rating in both states has plummeted, by 4 points in Florida and 6 points in the Keystone State.

Quinnipiac pollster Peter A. Brown attributed the figures to news stories about Clinton’s decision not to use a government email address while she served as secretary of State, saying it was “taking a toll” on her public image.

Menendez says his indictment is political. Can a Democrat get away with that?

Don't see why not. Tht's what all the many Republican pols have said when they've been indicted on corruption charges. They say that even after they've been convicted. We'll see if the case against Menendez ever gets that far.

We have said in other posts that we believe it’s time to call Left-Fascists, the political correctness crowd, what they are, Left-Fascists.

These folks fear discussion. They fear a ray of light shining into the authoritarian cult.

Case in point.

Your tax dollars swirling down a toilet.

This Scrapyard Contains the World’s Second-Largest Air Force

The United States currently boasts 5,448 active aircraft, giving it the world's largest air force by far. Russia comes in second with what is generally estimated to be a bit less than half that number, but that's still fewer planes than America has stashed in its maintenance and regeneration facility. I visited what is affectionately known as "the Boneyard" at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona, to see what amounts to the world's second-largest air force.

"We have around 4,000 aircraft here," Public Affairs Officer Teresa Pittman told me, "though that number changes every day."

The Boneyard emerged after World War II as the stash spot for a massive surplus of planes. Some of them have been baking in the Arizona desert for over half a century. The perfect climate, as well as the dedicated work of the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group, keeps most of them in—or somewhere close to—flying condition. Now, in the wake of military withdrawals from Iraq and Afghanistan, the Boneyard is again crowded with aircraft waiting to be scrapped, mothballed, used for parts, turned into museum pieces, or sold to foreign allies.
