So . . . cabin fever boredom brings me to surfing the web trying to find out more about massages (specifically for the hip)

I got linked to other sites, which I willingly went to, that were definately X rated. Enjoying myself, I looked at many of them, more out of curiosity than anything else. (do you know there are ethnic porn choices now - and isn't that my 11 year old neighbor there, gosh . . . )

I did NOT download anything and all sites were free access. I did look at many of them, however. Old ladies with young studs, yeah!!

Then . . .I go to leave the various sites and I get this big full page notice to STOP!!! That the government now knows where I have been and what I have been doing. All kinds of official logos and even a pic of Obama on the site. Flashing notices that I am now under surveillance by the government. My browser would not close, my computer was locked up on that page. Oh my gosh!! how can I get out of this??

So . . what do I need to do to get out of this page and the government off my back? By sending in $$ of course!! In fact, $300.

I am directed to go to my local drug store (Rite Aid logo and link provided) and buy one of those charge cards and assign it to this site. That will prevent any actions from the FBI, CIA, DEA, and a host of other government agencies.

Wow! I wonder how many scared people actually do this.

It gave me a good laugh.

@PUNKEY,
Punkey, I very strongly suggest you check, or have a professional check your computer for a full range of malware.

One possible way of getting out of a computer lock is to simply use your System Restore option to go back to a day prior to when the lock occurred.

PS- this computer help site is one of the best on the net if ever we need advice-

What happens on the porn site doesn't stay on the porn site. It swallows your computer.

I clicked onto a site by accident a few years ago. When I clicked off, a popup appeared, then another, and another, etc. I had to reboot the computer, delete history and cache to make it go away. Then, I swear my spam account filled with all sorts of messages from friendly folks with names like Lola.

Good luck.

@neologist,
Years ago, I swear one of those sites had actually installed several self loading sites in my Favorites list.
