Got hired at McDonalds

Last week on 12/7/2013 (Saturday)I went to the interview got hired and was asked to go to the orientation on 12/17/2013 (Tuesday) to fill out paper work. That same day I turned in my paper work to the McDonald's I applied at and they told me they will call me tomorrow (12/18/2013) but they never called me and they never gave me my schedule so now I don't know whats going on and when i start and what to do so...?

Why did you put 12/18?

If they're going to call you on 12/18, that's not until next Wednesday, so you're good. No reason to get your panties in a wad.

Did you mean to say they told you on the day you handed in your paperwork that they were going to call you tomorrow, 12/8/13? Did you accidently type 12/18/13 here?

If that's the case, do what Jespah suggested and stop by the location and ask the manager.
If the phone went beep beep beep you probably had the wrong number. Google that McDonalds location and see if you had the correct number.

The day you're supposed to start is next Tuesday, so you better go over there in person and see what's what.

None of the dates make sense in this. You were asked to go to an orientation on 12/17 to do the paperwork, which you then handed in. But it hasn't been the 17th yet, so how did you do that?

You're way too detail oriented, Edgar. Obviously, Jean Dixon looked into the future and saw that his future with McDonalds would have a greasy beginning. :-)

I can't see where anyone has mentioned that she managed to hand in her paperwork at an orientation on a date that hasn't happened yet.

Edgar twice, tico once and myself have all said those dates are in the future. The OP most likely typed in the wrong date of the 18th instead of the 8th in the posts, and will verify that when he/she comes around.

My question was - If the orientation is on the 17th, how is it that she/he has already done it and handed in the paper work?
If she/he typed the wrong dates and was actually supposed to be called on the 8th, then she/he has missed out.

Go to the orientation on Tuesday 17 December 2013 and listen carefully to everything they tell you.

Don't forget to try the uniform on for size.
