The Geminid meteor shower is supposed to be especially brialliant in the northern hemisphere, American sector tonight--really good in the You Ess of Ay, and brilliant in Canadia . . .

They call it the Geminid shower because those astrological airheads get all freaked out about it . . .

I usually don't mind the clouds. I actually kind of like the clouds. But once in a while I'd kill for a clear night.

Once Mr. B and I were camping at the beach on a brilliantly clear, spectacularly dark, moonless night and you could see the milky way in all of its dazzling glory. The longer you looked the more you could see and we were both too hypnotized to quit looking. We stared for hours. It made me feel like the happenstance of my very existence was a freaking miracle.

I want Mo to see/feel/understand that so I keep an eye out for the right conditions but haven't had any luck.

Yet.

I love to look at the sky.

The PErseid Shower will hit this Thurs an Fri as we pass through the Tuttle field. Its going to be one of the "blow up" years with 2 to 5 meteors pwr minute. .
I wish FBM was around to give tips on the best way to shoot em (camera-wise)
