I think it's a system quirk, Monger. It's happened to me before ~ only twice. I've PM'd today with no problems.

Well, Monger, I sent and received a passel of PMs yesterday...
Monger, and Rae--one day last week I got a notice that I've a new private message. Came over, foumnd the old messages in my box-nuttin' new.

Ohhhhh! Paddy is Misti's! Well, my dog Rupert loves my daughters and grandkids more! I think it's because our pets feel how much WE love you, if you understand my train!

Paddy started out as MY cat, until I did an absolutely horrible thing and went on vacation for two weeks.....leaving just enough time for him to bond with Mom.
Hence, I am catless once more. But he's kinda like a grandchild ~ I love on him and spoil him.....then off to Mom he goes!
Oh, lucky,lucky Paddy! Definately the best of both worlds!

You're right, Joan.....Paddy does have the best of both worlds. Mom is his primary caretaker and I'm the fun one!
Two of mine I got messages for but the other one I didn't know was there.
I've also received new message alerts twice but there was nothing new there. Does that mean there were messages I didn't get, or was it a false alarm?
Or is it the Twilight Zone.....

My PM's are still working just fine.
Sometimes you will get a message alert, and then it will say uptop that there are no new messages. Click on "you have ---new messages" anyway. When you go to your inbox, look for the top message with the orange bell to the left of it. Dollars to doughnuts you haven't seen that one before!
Anyone out there trying to contact me??? Anyone out there having similar problems?
