@Lustig Andrei,
I think I see what Dale is saying there, Andy.

You can define something impossible...and it appears even a GOD cannot do it.

A GOD, for instance, apparently cannot make a square circle.

A GOD apparently cannot make a rock so heavy IT cannot lift it.

So in a sense, even a GOD cannot do impossible things.

@Lustig Andrei,
Quote:
By all generally accepted definitions, dale, God is omnipotent, i.e. all-powerful.
That's true Andy, ours aren't

Quote:
This clearly implies that to God absolutely nothing can be impossible.
If She could do the impossible she could, eg, make herself both exist and not exist. It's absurd to suppose the impossible is possible, it's a clear contradiction, even for Her

Quote:
(Not so if you're speaking of a 'god' lower case.
We maintain merely there's something accounting for this Great Megillah presently too abstract for clear definition but grant anyone permission to call it "god," "God." or anything else you like

Quote:
Your "She" seems to be one of those puny creatures residing on Mt. Olympus or Asgard or somewhere similar.)
To the contrary Mt Olympus and all the rest of it is merely a part of Her

@Frank Apisa,
Thank you Frank for your support. We do maintain however that She is incapable of performing the impossible either in the abstract or concrete domain

She is a natural phenomenon, like everything else

@Godisapoormanager,
I heard that Gawd never finished her BS in management from the University of Phoenix®. She fell 8 credits short before becoming pregnant with Jesus and well she then dropped out of school to be a stay at home deity.

A GOD could easily lie. There is nothing impossible about that. You are arbitrarily making "not telling lies" to be a trait of your god.

I've always thought the best beer...is the beer that is available when you are dying for a beer after a round of golf.

Whatever is available...is my favorite.

Get back to Jersey, Neo. We will partake of my favorite beer together. Or yours.

@Godisapoormanager,
good people hate bad things. God's creation was good up until their bloodlines became impure with the introduction of Nephilim. Again the creation cannot be far from the creator, so the creation was good until they began breeding with the Nephilim, and God saw that it was bad.

@Godisapoormanager,
I believe the devil is the personification of evil not exactly the one to be blamed for it. All the evil in the world is from humans' free will. Thus, I believe the devil is a direct result of our free will.

Is there no end to this kind of thing?
