Finally got a question: According to an interview in Rolling Stone magazine, Bruce Springsteen, in the summer of 1979, recorded one song over and over again on a tape and played it everywhere he went, such was his admiration for the lyrics and the melody. What was the song and who was the artist?
Hint: It was sung by Gwyneth Paltrow and Huey Lewis in the movie "Duets."

Edgar, I'm gonna take a guess at that Fats Domino question and say "Walkin' to New Orleans."

It ain't WALKIN TO N O. It's one of his early hits. Hint: There is a common element to the three Fats Domino recordings I've mentioned.

Ubie Blake.

The answer to the Fats Domino question is: MY BLUE HEAVEN.

I shouldn't ask one this obscure, but, here it is anyway: On the heels of his only hit record, this guy, who was no singer, according to those around him, recorded SEA CRUISE. Then he went on vacation, fully expecting the new record would be released just as he recorded it. Once he was out of the studio, however, they lifted his voice from the master and inserted Frankie Ford's voice. I don't know if this guy ever recorded anything again, but he never had an more songs on the radio.
