I'll admit up front I haven't seen alot of them this year, but I really liked
these. (I guess it's a three way tie for now)

hopefully this one too...but considering i just shot some more footage for it in costa rica. it's now a 2004 movie. Rephrase the question I then i can respond.

I did see LOST IN TRANSLATION but for some reason or other didn't think it was an Indie. I thought it was great so it's a four way tie now!
Algis, checked out your link. I'm on the planning
committee of the S.N.O.B. (Somewhat North of Boston) Film Festival in Concord N.H. It takes place
on Nov 12-14 this year. I'd be interested in taking a look at it for the fest. If you're interested our website is www.snobfilmfestival.org

The hamsters who are absent today are an April Fool's tradition on A2K (I just forgot!)

The consensus of film critics is "Lost in Translation" and the Oscars thought so too.
