In the GRAND scheme of things, what matters?

The problem when people try to essay about grand schemes of things is that their scheming is not even good enough to be small...

The whole debate in this world is a fantastic piece of humour. It contrasts extreme stupidity and ignorance with, a real number like infinitesimal differing degree of stupidity n extreme ignorance.

Smart people are just as infinitely stupid as the kings n champions of stupidity we flame everyday...if anything is truer about them, is that for lack of greater contrast most are even more eluded about their real condition and significance in the actual great scheme of things then the bashed stupid folk are...

Any real smart man would just seat all day n stay put.

@Fil Albuquerque,
Seriously ! Everyone needs a purpose and a reason to live. Are you beyond that?

@Germlat,
I was talking about the great scheme of things and not about my life mediocre narrative with its subjective selfish small plots...on that regard I am just as stupid as the next men.

People really have a great deal of trouble with time as a concept and choosing when they should use it.

Reality as a whole is timeless. Speaking about planing n scheming is something referring back to what humans do when trying to predict the future and not something that can be ascribed as a property to reality itself. Reality does not follow anyone or any thing's plan as there is no anything or anyone beyond its all encompassing scope.

It suffices to say that if reality as a whole is timeless and has an order of events then to an observer inside a given time frame of reference it very much will look like it is following a plan. But of course time being relative reality is not following anything, reality is already everything. Such everything has a pattern n that's all is worth saying about it.

This sort of problem as difficulty with dealing with huge streams of data leads to ubiquitous obscure concepts like plan or randomness.

Asking for what matters is nothing but asking for knowledge about an already existing future, it makes no sense. Its implied choosing n ditching, is merely conjectural evaluation for lack of data on an already settled super structure. What matters is what exits..."beginning" to "end" within the repeating pattern on the whole of reality.

The word is "exists" not exits...(sorry for that)

@OmSigDAVID,
Well...having fun all the time is a bit like being permanently doped.
Personally I want a bit more of diversity in my world of experiences.

@OmSigDAVID,
If I had to be doped all the time with a stupid smile in my face I probably would. Thankfully entropy takes care of that for me and I don't need to think about it or wish it. We never wish for stuff we have plenty of.

...maybe that explains why you "muricans" are shooting each other out of boredom...(1 world problems) Very Happy

@Fil Albuquerque,
It lies within my ability to be drunk or stoned all the time.
I do neither. Thay r not my idea of fun.

I have as much fun as I choose to do.
For that reason, about 35 years ago,
I founded a special interest group within Mensa
called: the Opulent Mensan Special Interest Group
whose primary activity was enjoying the better restaurants of Manhattan
in addition to traveling to other cities for conventions and enjoying
their better restaurants and other places of recreation.

@OmSigDAVID,
When I said "I would" I was referring to the circumstances on which I would use a hammer. I never question what is within your ability.
