Like Misti I have not S.O. but when I did I wore my hair the way I liked it. Over the years I have really tired of that long hair deal men always talk about. In any case I change my hair style frequently but like it very short as Phoenix has described. Right now I am letting it grow out and it is a couple of inches below my neck hair line. I think I will let it go until summer and then figure something out. A few years ago I did my last harrah with long hair and let it go half way down my back.

Of course in the late 60s and early 70s it was very long and very straight.

In July I had blonde high lights put in but do not like it as it does not look natural to me.

JoanneD - that made me giggle. The manager of the salon i used to go was always saying, " you do KNOW that won't look natural, DON'T you?". Heck, if that was my goal, i wouldn't be asking for fire engine red and tweety bird yellow hilites. Laughing

Now you have me giggling Beth eh. Very Happy

I have a friend in Philly who was so angry with her S.O. she went out and got a buzz cut. I am like Jill how does doing that to yourself because you are angry with Gus say anything. She said well she didn't know but it was a statement never-the-less.

My hair is medium brown, medium length and medium straight. IT is really hard to notice any difference after it is cut, but I point out these changes to my family so they know I do something with my day!

My hubby has gotten used to me changing mainly the color of my hair, the cut mostly stays the same, short. As long as there's no real drastic change, and how can there be with short hair, he doesn't pay much attention. Sometimes I have to say to him, didn't you notice I got my hair cut today? Or, didn't you notice the difference in my hair color?
He has a flat top, and sometimes I threaten to have mine cut the same way. His response is cool. I know he doesn't mean it though.
Maybe I should do it, just to see what kind of reaction I'd get.
No, I don't think so, because it matters to me how I look, and a flat top would be just a bit too short.
It's about that time to get the cut and do the color again.
