how do we resize?

I don't know. I post photos a lot and almost always they fit, but, if I take a photo from a photo news site and it turns out to be oversized, I've no idea how to chop it down. I did that within the last day or two - one photo re the horses at Arlington - and got a fat zero on the thread - which I get - but don't know how to fix.

Region, thank you for posting that - what a great help this will be. I posted a too big photo of a horse - and great photo it was, just way too big - on the beautiful animals thread the other day. I was torn about it, deciding to not post it, and then did, to get people to look at the rest of the photos at a website.

I have to remember to check the a2k blog every once in a while. I used to, but got out of the habit. (Didn't a hamster used to appear to tell us about new blog posts? I think that would be good as a default/choice thing.)

And geez, that's an old blog post - I must have read it and completely forgotten about ways to fix an image to improve it for posting.

Don't want to lose these links. They are very useful.
