Have last night's on DMR but haven't watched it yet. Stewart was on vacation last week so there were older shows on my cable in his time slot.
Friday nights is always stand-up. I missed the shows you're speaking of.
Hmmm, we've got a different schedule (Ours is digital cable from Comcast). As I may have mentioned, we're such early-to-bed folks that we don't see the 11pm show. We watch at 7pm when the previous night's show airs again.
Your schedule is different. The Daily Show's new spots are at 7:00 PM and repeated at 11:00PM here. I have my DMR (Digital Media Recorder) set up to record the 11:00PM just before Leno and we watch in the next afternoon. I don't know now if they did have the marathon of stand-ups and I know they do it once or twice a year. The best specials are on HBO, of course.
