@cicibebe,
A very odd question indeed and I would like to know how and why the questioner think that there might had been some benefits and what they might had been.

@cicibebe,
Is this a serious question or is this your sick idea of humour?

I would like to know that also, as before the cold war ended without bloodshed let alone a nuclear war there might be someway to had argued that the Nazis would had been less of a threat then the communists but that is in the past at this point.

@BillRM,
God I would love at times to know who voted down a posting like my posting above so I could ask why?

Some strange people on this website.

Thanks but it still strange as off hand I can not see why anyone would have a problem with that post.

Would the vote down person like to explain his or her vote?

I think I may have voted up a post many years ago, but I now make a practice of NEVER voting a post up or down...so I have no dog in that fight.

But...in the subject post, you wrote:

I would love to read an argument that reasonably sets out a case that Nazis could have made this world a better place than communists.

The point would be that the ideas behind Nazism containing the theory of racial superiority of a very small percents of the total human race would have not have the power to spread worldwide as the communists theories where threatening to do at one point.

Can not see for example that Nazism would have been the foundation of the Chinese revolt for example.

So in a world where Germany had taken out the USSR the threat to freedoms they themselves would had been would had been less.

I am not saying I am agreeing with the above just suggesting why some people might had feel in the 1950 to 1970 that way.

You see something wrong with communism?

In so must as it been the foundation of dictatorships that had killed tens of millions humans that live under their rule in fact far more then the Nazis did there is something wrong with communism.

Beside as an economic model it does not work and reduce most people under it to poor serfs.

So you do have a problem with it.

I guess I do also.

But my guess is that eventually capitalism and socialism will meld into an amalgam that will get us through the impossible situation now confronting us...a technological evolution that makes much human labor, at best, marginally valuable.

Fact is, Bill...an amalgam of communistic socialism and capitalism is at work right now helping make China a contender to be the leading economic power in the world.

In any case, I do not see how anything you have responded backs up your contention that a reasonable case can be made that Nazis could have made this world a better place than communists.

Why not give that a shot?

As I am not trying to prove or supported a position I happen to hold just explain how people could had feel that way your statement seems not on point.

Given the almost complete lack of human freedoms under whatever you can label the current Chinese government you can have it.

Oh a society that in fact is likely to come completely apart due to a generation coming up of only children and the sexual imbalance related to the one child policy.

Well, since you made the assertion, I thought you might want to back it up, but I will acknowledge I was apparently incorrect about that.

I don't want it...nor did I say that I did. I merely said that an amalgam of socialism and capitalism will probably be needed to get us through what we are experiencing. Just because China cannot make such a system work without imposing more restrictions than we Americans want...doesn't mean we cannot make it work. In any case, in my opinion either we make it work...or we are going down the toilet.

Ok let go slow very very slow the Chinese are looking at a generation where a large percents of the men will not be able to find wives and set up families and this is not good for any society stability.

Is that slow enough for you................

@BillRM,
I see.

So when you wrote, "Oh a society that in fact is likely to come completely apart due to a generation coming up of only children and the sexual imbalance related to the one child policy"...whatever the hell that means...

...you actually were saying...

"the Chinese are looking at a generation where a large percents of the men will not be able to find wives and set up families and this is not good for any society stability"...whatever the hell that means.

Thanks.

I gotta go rest for a bit. Discussing things like this with you is very tiring.

@BillRM,
One last thing, though...and Bill, I swear I am not being a wise ass here, I simply want to be sure about something:

Is English your primary language...or is it a secondary language for you?
