Just type "Linux on Mac" into Google. Plenty of hits.

Hello all,

Although Mac's OS X operating system does not have a significant market share when compared to Windows, it does have the advantage that it runs on a Unix core, and thus is not only more stable, but is more resistant to bugs, viruses and crashes.

Despite its inherent stability, however, you may find yourself wanting to install Linux on your Mac at some point. Linux is free, very stable and able to run on almost any hardware, including Windows boxes, Xboxes, Intel Macs and Power PC Macs such as the G4.
