When Charlie Sneed (played by Willliam Windom) stops in at the Waltons to give them a Christmas turkey, some of the kids run up to him all excited thinking he is their father and then are disappointed when they see it's only him. He acts offended, in a humorous way, and says something that sounds like "Dana Money". What is he saying and what does it mean?

@Katrinka1,
Every year we watch the Homecoming, and every year I've wondered the same dang thing. Well, according to the 'Walton Gurus' over at the Walton's Forum, Charlie Sneed actually says, "Great day in the mornin' ".

I'll have to take the Walton Guru's word for it. William Windom certainly butchered the line if that's the case. I'm with you tho, it definitely sounds more like, "Dana money."
