System Unit(CPU unit) of the computer

I just encountered this when I press the ON bottom of the system unit it on's but in 2 second it turns off.
Can you help me whats the problem w/ my PC's unit ?

2 seconds is too short for it to be an overheating issue.

If you hold the button in will it complete the boot cycle?

It may just be the power supply, or even the switch itself.
