Exactly one million years ago today,
The Tonight Show began to hold sway.
Steve Allen began it,
With some famous tenants,

Interesting, C.I. Just found out that Jester Harrison wrote the lyrics to "Amen" in the movie Lilies of the Field. He also did the singing for Sidney Poitier. Don't know who did the dubbin' for the nuns. Whoopi Goldberg, I suspect.
