Is saturated fat still believed to be correlated with heart disease?

@gollum,
Un huh, but I recall seeing contrary opinions in the past year or so.

@roger,
Thanks. I saw one recently. I was wondering whether to keep minimizing them in my diet.

@gollum,
My own feeling is to minimize them when there's no big loss in satisfaction. I use sunflower oil in the skillet because it works as well as lard, but I don't spend much time worrying about it.

I think the conformation of blood vessels is a factor.

Is the combined study then saying that food labelling is a waste of time?

@farmerman,
I bet you are scared of the white stuff. And it is delicious.

What you want are three rashers of fat bacon fried for ten minutes, two eggs done in the fat and the rest soaked up by two slices of bread until crispy.

Oh boy--that is just the thing after a pre-breakfast **** spreading session.

@gollum,
Saturated fat means weight increases and obesity, obesity is the reason for diabetes, blood pressure and heart problem.

@ruthhall08,
I've heard that, too. Probably true when you make the obesity an intermediate step.
