Geography Homework On Disaster Management

You are asking for help to answer a question that only you can answer.
We don't live in "your area", you do.
We don't even know where that is!
Have a good think about the question, do a bit of research (Google, etc) to identify what sort of disaster/s is most likely to occur where you live .... then create a survival plan for the people who live there.
How could they plan ahead, before the potential disaster actually happens?
And what should they do at the time & after, to maximize survival rates?
Come on, you can do that!

if the most comon disaster in my area are thunderstorms then what am i to do.

As disaster awareness manager you must then be aware of the potential for floods, for lightning-induced wildfires, and so on. You must make specific plans for what actions will be taken if the rains and thunderstorms become overwhelming.

think of the most likely rare disaster: are you on a fault line, in an earthquake zone?blizzards, droughts, volcanic activity, hurricanes, tornadoes, plagues of locust, rabid raccoons (an actual problem in Mass, a few years ago). There must be something out of the ordinarythat's happened in the last three centuries there. EWildfires, prairie fires, forest fires. Alien invasions. Floods are always good, though, if imagination and history fail.
