@gungasnake,
It appears you don't know much about how drugs are priced. Different birth control pills cost different amounts. Someone without health insurance isn't going to get any birth control for $100 a year. The doctor visit alone won't be less than $100. A woman that requires a larger dosage will pay more. The larger dose can be for any of a number of reasons, most of them having nothing to do with sex or even preventing pregnancy.

@parados,
Needing 3k/year of that stuff is like needing 3k/year for aspirin. You'd have to be eating aspirin sandwiches.

@gungasnake,
Really Gunga? And you are aware of the cost of high dosage birth control pills how?

By the way, the highest dosage birth control pills can cost $70 per pill. No one needs to take those on a daily basis but if they did, well you can do the math.

@gungasnake,
My my, you really are a bubba aren't you Ganja! Did you actually read what Sandra Fluke said, or are you only capable of listening to Rustophan 'Oxycodone' Limpbutt?

If you had, you would have heard that the woman that Fluke was testifying about with the $3K per year hormone treatment bill took them to prevent ovarian cysts, but because it was a prescription big Pharma inflated the costs and because it was also used for birth control it was not covered by in her health plan.

BTW you don't need a precription for acetylsalicylic acid.
