I've been trying to figure out this flower. I took the picture along side a closed road, in a shady area, and somewhat damp. I've stayed up until 4 am trying to figure it out.

Looks like it is a member of the trillium family.

Yeah, I'd guess it's a trillium grandiflorum. Some are pink throughout their flowering season, others turn pink as they age. That one looks more like my white ones that turn pink as they go bye.
