Joe bought a bag of oranges on Mon, ate 1/3 of them on Tues he ate 1/2 of remaing oranges on Wed he looked into bag to find he had only 2 oranges left How many in the original bag

We know: Monday he ate 1/3. That leaves ?/?. On Tuesday he ate half of what was left, so what he found on Wednesday (2) is the same number. So ?/? of the oranges in the bag equals 4.
