Al Green,
Who gifted us with songs like "Still in Love With You", "Let's Stay Together" (which President Obama famously borrowed), "Tired of Being Alone", and "Look What You Done for Me", turned 66 on Friday the 13th.

An American original, he was part of the sound track of my first forays into romance, and still occupies space on my Ipod.
