Considering Chile as our new home ...

Hi, my husband and I live in Australia with our two children aged 13 and 6. We are considering an overseas move and Chile seams to be the place of choice.
We are 100% country folk but still need to have access to a reasonable High School and sporting opportunities for our son.
For our sickly daughter, we'd prefer friendly, gentle weather but not neccessarily coastal.
Personnally I'd love somewhere in the mountains or Lake District where I can pursue my horse riding and fishing and find the very quiet life.
We are farmers so we can look after ourselves with most things.
Can somebody please give us any ideas?
