@mr batman,
personaly , i think
1.Nas , he has been arounf for a LONG time , and raps about life , not drugs , killing cops n sh1t
2.Tupac , i dont think i need a reason , possibly the greastest rapper (over 600 records? tht crazy)
3.Biggie smalls , for his crazy rhymes and real cool voice , and is very uniqe compared to other rappers , (and he busts a crazy freestyle)

. MyStik . `

Again, I'd put Rakim and Nas at the top.

I'm not saying these are the best hip-hop albums of all time, but right now they're my fave five:

5. Clipse--Hell Hath No Fury
4. Cannibal Ox--The Cold Vein
3. NaS--Illmatic
2. Madvillain (MF Doom)--Madvillainy
1. CunninLynguists--Piece of Strange

Just wanted to inject the underground into this discussion.

I was in a Hip-Hop Clan, on a Freestyle Fellowship, there was a weird Atmosphere, when a Bus Driver came by and Organized Konfusion.

Then I met the Jungle Brothers, in a Tribe Called Quest. That was Common to have Black Sheep owned by a Brand Nubian looking for his Roots.

Aside from that the Public Enemy fought the Beastie Boys under the Black Moon but it was Too Short a fight.

To be the first to catch a concussion, from El-P's percussion
