This may be a problem more suited to a forum on creative acrobatics, but I'll start here.

How can one clean the inside of the windshield? Cars today have windshields that slant out and down at such an angle that it is just about impossible to get them really clean, regardless of whether you use Windex, water, windshield washer fluid, or anything else. It's the hideously awkward angle that causes the problem - you can't swipe the glass without incredible contortions. Rolling Eyes

Does anyone know of a good flexible mop or sponge or such, that can be used to attack the glass from a distance? Or know of any other solution?

At the autoparts store, look for a small window "squeegee," the type with a rubber blade for wiping fluid off the glass (i have one, very handy). Fold up a papertowel, spray the cleaner onto the towel, and then put it on the glass. Use the "squeegee" to push the towel around. That's always difficult, but that method helps.

Of course, clean the outside with horizontal strokes and the inside with vertical. That way, you know which side the streaks are on.

roger- What a great idea. Now if you could come up with a few more of those, and write a book.................Now that Martha may be going to the slammer, you could fill in for her! Very Happy
