We were rummaging through the attic yesterday and found a coin from 1933 in a plastic case it is marked 14k in what appears to be mint condition, I am looking to have it appraised but I have trouble finding it on the internet. I have looked on multiple websites but can't find anything about a miniature coin, if any one has any ideas please let me know. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

@rmoore,
These were issued by dealers of gold coins who frequently sent out catalogs thru the mail. Yours is a commemorative coin, it is not a original 1933 coin of which there are only about 20-30 in the whole world and they are all property of the U.S. gov. except for one in private hands. They sell many like yours on eBay. It's value is based on it's weight at the current gold price, but remember, this is 14k gold, not pure 24k...so it is worth less than pure gold but still carry's a small value.
