To be quite frank, other than my local side I'm not a huge supporter of team sports, and at school I was always the last to be picked in a side so I know what you mean.
Dave, losing only strengthens the sense of community and resiliance, and it's dependent on other results not going your way. We lost yesterday to Doncaster, but we stay top of the table, because West Ham who were second also lost. Had West Ham won it would have been more disappointing.
