The fossil I found

The fossil appears to be some kind of huge bug. The stone weighs about 100 lbs. The creature has eight legs and each leg is about 2" in dia. The creature itself measures 2' x 2.5 ' . This is folded a bit the way it is in the stone. I'd like to send a pic but I don't know how.

Since the creature in your fossil has only eight legs, I assume it's not a trilobite.

Wow, where did you find it and how did you get something so big home?

Region provided the info I was going to about how to upload. Once your photo is uploaded to photobucket or imageshack, copy the link that looks like this:

Code:[img]urlforyourpicture.jpg[/img]

(The important part is that it has "img" tags at either end.)

And post it here. Should work.

If you need further details though let us know.

I'm interested in seeing this fossil!
