Osso, many good vibes for clear eyesight and a quick resolution to this are wending their way south!

Oy!

Just caught up to this news. Does anyone know how to get in touch with Ossob directly?

I surely hope OssoB's results turn out as well as those of my co-worker who had this surgery about 2 months ago. His only big problem was that since most cataract patients are a lot older than he is (45), the doctor's office was not used to accomodating the schedule of someone with a job.

Hugs and kisses going out to one of the finest west coast gals!

Awfully nice of you to offer, Blatham. You're a mensch.

Right. She used to live in LA. Still in the North as far as I know. Well, it would be on the way from Vancouver to LA, thought!

Ossobuco told me the surgery would be in Santa Rosa. Where's that?

Santa Rosa is about 30 miles north of San Francisco.

Remember that this is for everyone to see, though, I'm not sure we want to get too public about her whereabouts if we know, especially if it's not something she went into herself.

Sounds very much in the path of monsieur le Mountie, though.

Santa Rosa is known for the Peanuts museum and Ripley's. It's probably the 'biggest' town closest to where she lives.

All those fingers & toes crossed and the clear light and good wishes seem to have made a difference.

Here's an update from Ossobuco at 9pm:
Quote:
I'm okay. I think my left eye will make it, barring complications that are looking unlikely. I am at my friend's house in Napa. One more post surg check tomorrow. More later, not home until probably Thursday night.

Thanks Piffka, we all can breathe a sigh of relief.

Bernie, dear mensch, your services will not be needed after all--well, she might have some other things in mind....

Sadly Blatham's kind offer probably won't be taken up though I'm sure Osso will be delighted at the possibility once she hears of it. Very Happy
