Our ossobuco, painter, inspirer, wonderful friend, had cataract surgery on Thursday. Here is a clip of her description of the surgery on Thurs.
It turned out I had one of the rare and difficult
conditions.... when he got in there, my own eye lens was an "unstable lens",
with about half the "ligaments" that hold it collapsed (not by the surgery
but by some precondition).
On Saturday, she woke up with tremendous pressure behing her eyes and was driven back to the doctor's, who performed additional surgery today. Her friends are all waiting for any report and sending her our best thoughts and all the support possible. I know those friends on a2k will want to add your support to that of the rest of her friends.
At the end of her post about the first surgery, she said please don't send white light, nooooooo, nooooooo. Just send clear sight.
Thinking of her and what a pleasure it is to have her as a friend and as a unique and creative contributor on a2k.
Keeping my favorite Italiophile in my thoughts.

Soz, I'm not sure if someone is with her. I know that her business partner, who took her to the doctor on Saturday, has gone to Alaska. Now I'm really worried.
Yeah.
Business partner is the first one I thought of to be with her. Niece is out of state.
Are any A2K'ers in her vicinity? Not to violate her privacy, just curious if that is a possibility...
