Sir:
I moved and my water hardness changed. I have a Rainsoft EC4 75 CV. How do I get to the service/install mode and change the hardness? My old house setting was 10 and my new should be 7. What ever you could send (comments, suggestions, service/install manuals, etc.) would be greatly appreciated. My email follows: [email protected]

I am not familiar with the EC4, it may be one of their newer control valves.
Can you post a clear picture of the face with the buttons?

You will be fine with the old settings for now... it will use slightly more salt than it should.

I was under the impression that you called yourself H2O man because of water boarding. I don't know why I got that impression. Nevertheless I have misjudged you, and for that I apologise. You and I are worlds apart politically, but I have always found your comments dignified and reasoned, unlike some other posters.
