It's a pejorative term, it's not only Socialists who support Universal health care.

I do see your point, yet,

Socialists don't have a monopoly on the word social.

I thank you for bringing it to my attention though.

Universal Healthcare is for the most part publicly run and socialized medicine it seems would be "government run". So, Hobby Lobby has just opened the door to socialized medicine.

Am I am grammatically wrong on this point?

If so please respond.

@RexRed,
Until I came across you using the term, I'd only heard it from far right Americans who hate the NHS.

We're very proud of the NHS, and resent any attack on our institution by far right extremists.

You're using the vernacular of the far right.

@bobsal u1553115,
You are trying to claim the Bush didn't see an all time market high. I proved you wrong and you don't like it. Once again the market hit an all time high before it crashed again. That doesn't mean he didn't see an all time market high during his time in office. Your level of dishonesty is amazing sometimes Bob.

Once again what is going to happen to the stock market when they end QE? Come on be honest Bob. The market is only doing well because of the QE.

That might help Warren a bit. But it will help divide a the Democratic party.

Obama regime to bring in riot squad against Murrieta protesters

The asshole can't bring people in to secure the border, but he is ready to beat down American citizens. Citizens protesting about a law he will not enforce

Quote:
It’s going to get ugly. This is a quote from a police officer in Murrieta trying to stop the protesters against illegals who blocked buses transported these disease ridden filth. According to Breitbart Texas, the Obama regime is so pissed by the protesters that the regime is planning to send in riot police with shields to make sure the buses get through the next time they try to go through Murrieta. So lets review. Obama is going to send in riot police to Murrieta to protect the disease ridden illegal filth. Obama and Hillary Clinton didn’t send any type of security in Benghazi to help Chris Stevens and the other three Americans who were killed on 9/11/12.

To complete the destruction of America, Obama annoints Elizabeth Warren as his successor

Because nothing will energize his progressive moonbat base better than a fake Indian princess feminut. Fauxcahontas 2016!

Ed Klein reports that Obama is using Valerie Jarrett to urge Elizabeth Warren to challenge Hillary in the primary to protect Obama's transformation of the nation into something of which he and Michelle can be proud.

Warren will protect Obama's, ahem, achievements, Hillary can't be trusted to do that.

It's entirely believable. Whether it's true remains to be seen.

I can see it being true.

There's no love lost between the Obamas and the Clintons.

And it gives Valerie Jarrett the opportunity to play, er, Queenmaker.

President Obama has quietly promised Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren complete support if she runs for president — a stinging rebuke to his nemesis Hillary Clinton, sources tell me….

Obama has authorized his chief political adviser, Valerie Jarrett, to conduct a full-court press to convince Warren to throw her hat into the ring….

He believes that the populist Warren is the best person to convince the party faithful that Hillary is out of touch with poor Americans and the middle class. Warren, in his view, would carry on the Obama legacy after he leaves the White House….

"Barack, Michelle, and Valerie have been talking about Elizabeth Warren for quite some time," says an Obama administration source. "Valerie has told Warren that Obama is prepared to throw a great deal of money and organizational support behind her….

"Both Valerie and Michelle Obama have convinced the president that Elizabeth Warren is his Mini-Me," said a person who has discussed the issue with Jarrett.

Yup, two unqualified peas in an ideological demogogic pod, they are.

And with Warren at the helm we'll surely see this country fall into the Abyss.

Which, of course, is Jarrett's plan. She is the progressives' Maleficent, cursing freedom with every breath,
and sowing havoc upon the land. Who better to fulfill her vision of malevolent misanthropy than the self-professed intellectual inspiration for the gimme-gimme-gimme goons of Occupy Wall Street?

Someone please tell me that this is all a bad dream

Confidence in the presidency, Congress, and the Supreme Court all plummets
Gallup finds that Americans' confidence in all three branches of the US government has fallen, reaching record lows for the Supreme Court and Congress, and a six-year low for the presidency.
Christian Science Monitor By Brad Knickerbocker

At least according to Gallup, which reported recently that Americans' confidence in all three branches of the US government has fallen, reaching record lows for the Supreme Court (30 percent) and Congress (7 percent), and a six-year low for the presidency (29 percent). The presidency had the largest drop of the three branches this year, down seven percentage points from its previous rating of 36 percent.

“Since June 2013, confidence has fallen seven points for the presidency, four points for the Supreme Court, and three points for Congress,” Gallup reported, based on a poll taken in early June. “Confidence in each of the three branches of government had already fallen from 2012 to 2013.”

Our government is destroying this country, and they just don't care.

@izzythepush,
I'm not giving up anything to the right wing. They don't get to own all the words and they don't get to frame every discussion - particularly health care policy. Besides they talk about "Socialism" and what we're are talking about is socialism or social programs.

We're getting too hung up about this.

@Baldimo,
You don't own me. He inherited a market high, took it up a few points and in one year of inheriting his market high started losing it until by the end of his second term lost almost half of it. Ask anyone who plays the market - "Do you prefer your porfolio on Obama's market or W Bush's market?"

You really hate being wrong. Doesn't mean you aren't ever wrong. You're wrong about this, get over it.

@Advocate,
How can weaselzippers be sooo "Right" and so wrong? Thanks to the RW, Hilliary's support of W is such common knowledge the Democrats will be able to let to her go with no problem. Besides,the last GOP primary was such a warm group hug, and the Teabillies have been such a unifying factor in the GOP. Ask Eric Canter about it or recall the GOP love fest in the Mississippi GOP Senatorial primary last week.
