and hounding him with inspections like we were doing, wouldn't that have been a long term success? It sure seemed to be working....all except for we couldn't control the flow of oil and profit from it that way.
So what we had was a long term benefit with no short term disastrous results in the works....we traded that for a questionable long term benefit with irrefutably disastrous short term results.
