Monitor Question

My flat screen monitor went up last Saturday so I replaced it with the original monitor. My question is, the border on the right is wider than on the left. Does anyone know how to center everything so the border is the same with on both sides of the screen? The monitor is an eMachines 17f3. Thanks for any help!
