Do the Japanese ever make any cartoons that aren't anime-style?

Hi-I am curious. Do the Japanese ever make cartoons that resemble the American cartoons? The Hollywood cartoon style of animation? The closest one I can think up is Astroboy. Besides Astroboy what other American-style cartoons do the make? Please help.
