My cat well she is a timmed one she don't like to get brushed, she don't like baths and she weights under 5 pounds and she is 5 yrs old, she eats but is not gaining weight help me out My email is rlrinfl@yahoo.com. I don't have much $ to buy things that cost alot.

The Furminator is a great item in the smallest size. It's more comb than brush, and is easy to use on all parts that are hard to reach with a larger brush or comb. I haven't washed my cats in over five years, and they seem to do okay. Without a professional work area, I'm not sure it's worth doing.

Oh, the Furminator is pretty expensive, but if you can find something similar at a good price, she will probably tolerate combing well enough if you don't make too big a deal out of it. You know, if she sits beside you, have the comb ready, and just comb or brush till she gets tired of it.
