Are betta fish fights legal? Can the fights be bet on legally and attendance be charged for? What are the moral/ethical issues?

Whether it is ethical to have animals fight for your entertainment/profit. That would be the main one, I think.

But Joe - is there actually a market? It does seem like a real dumb market, I'm just wondering if there is one. No dogs, no chickens - how 'bout fish? Life long fighters, just wondering?

we happened to witness it, so no. (it got flicked out onto the table, and was flopping like dinner)

but the fish doesn't feck with the cat any longer when it decides to drink from it's house...

That wasn't your question. You asked it it was legal or ethical. You didn't ask if there was a market for it. I know nothing about the market potential for fish fights.
