Due to a slight change in site programing some of you may either have lost your Avatars entirely or found that the Avatar appears as a Red "X". You're Avatar should NOT have been affected if you chose one from the site Avatar gallery.
For the short term (next several months) the uploading of Avatars from your hard drive will be disabled and anyone who had used one will probably find that their Avatar is now gone.
You can opt to chose a replacement Avatar from the site gallery or you can upload your desired image to a WWW site out on the net and link to it. Please be aware however that not all sites will allow for this site to pull images from their site. MSN is one known site that does this and Geocities is believed to have problems with it but there may be others as well.

http://www.able2know.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=47 but please disregard the comments there about uploading for the time being! We will advise when that option is available again.
NOTE: Some people are rather possesive of their chosen Avatar.
Please try to select an avatar that isn't already in use if possible. If you do happen to chose one and notice that someone else already has the same Avatar you might consider contacting that user by PM and ensuring there aren't any problems. While some people may think this all very silly others don't so your kind and thoughful consideration of others would be appreciated!
