Are there lots of old unused buildings in Berlin?

I know there are a lot in the north of England, windmills, factories, etc.
Does anyone know whether there are any in Berlin? On the outskirts of Berlin? In the centre?

Might sound a weird question; I'm looking for venues to put up art exhibitions.

Yes, there is a lots of abandoned unused building in Berlin.
